PVC pipes are everywhere, but they rarely act like architecture. We turn them into a tree system—a branching canopy whose structure, lighting, and pattern become one experimental interior design move.
The pipes are still plumbing-grade, but we assemble them into an overhead skeleton with a canopy of light. The branches fan out like a tree crown, and the whole assembly becomes both structure and atmospheric filter for whatever zone sits beneath it.

Tree logic
\- a trunk of thicker pipe anchors the system to the ceiling;
\- branches spread in radial modules so the pattern feels both organic and repeatable;
\- the geometry leaves pockets for light to hide and for airflow to pass through; the result is an architectural rhythm, not a random scatter of tubes.
Because the pipes are so affordable, we can layer them with integrated lighting and trim the system down where budgets or neighbors demand restraint.
Lighting + pattern
- Embed linear LEDs into the pipe clusters so light follows the branches rather than washing the ceiling.
- Use translucent sleeves or diffusers to soften glare and highlight the circular ends as beads of reflection.
- Let the pipes breathe with colour accents (rust, charcoal, muted gold) so the rhythm stays warm when the DJ scene heats up.
Thailand reality check
\- test whether the pipes sweat when the humidity spikes, and keep the lighting wiring accessible;
\- ensure the suspension allows for easy maintenance—pipe systems attract dust;
\- plan for integrated acoustics so the canopy doesn’t become a resonant trap;
\- reject pipes that promise “patina” but crumble after a season.
Operator prompts
- What atmosphere should the canopy block or reveal?
- Where should the system sit—bar, lounge, feature wall?
- How does the lighting change between early service and late-night?
- Which parts of the canopy need to stay modular so the space can evolve?
