Hospitality Interior Design in Thailand
We design hotels, resorts, bars and wellness spaces that feel alive — raw materials, refined detailing, and an atmosphere guests remember long after they check out. Bangkok-based, working island to island.
What we design
Full-scope hospitality interiors
One studio for the whole guest journey — from arrival to the last drink. We take on the spaces where atmosphere drives revenue, and we design them to perform.
Hotels & Resorts
Lobbies, guest rooms, suites and pool decks with a distinct identity — not another beige box in a portfolio.
Bars & Restaurants
F&B interiors built around a concept and a crowd, engineered so the room fills and stays full.
Wellness & Spa
Wellness centres and spas where texture, light and calm are designed as deliberately as the treatment menu.
Lounges & Rooftops
Signature social spaces — the rooftop, the members' lounge, the destination bar people cross the city for.
Lobbies & Public Areas
The first ten seconds of the guest experience, treated as the most valuable square metres on the floor plate.
Concept & Identity
The narrative, material palette and mood that make the space unmistakably yours across every touchpoint.
Our approach
The Unformal method: raw, refined, alive
Design is not formal. It is unformal. We reject commercial perfection and take the raw energy of the street into industrial, vibrant, human hospitality spaces. Here's the thing — the material system is the concept, not decoration on top of it.
Material-led, not moodboard-led
Pallets, PVC crates, oil barrels and glass bottles get reimagined as real architectural modules — walls, bars, screens, light. Cost-smart, sustainable, and impossible to copy from a catalogue.
Raw meets refined
We keep the honesty of raw texture, then refine the joints, lighting and flow so the space reads intentional and premium — never unfinished. Emotional, but engineered.
Human-centered & immersive
Every decision serves how the guest moves, feels and lingers. We design for dwell time and repeat visits, because in hospitality that is the metric that pays.
Sustainability by construction
Reclaimed and repurposed materials aren't a green badge — they're built into the concept from day one, cutting waste while giving the room a story worth photographing.

Process
From concept to keys, in five moves
Concept & narrative
We define the story, the crowd and the emotional target — the reason the space should exist and why guests will come back.
Material system
We build the signature palette — which raw and reclaimed materials become the architecture, costed and sourced from the start.
Design & detailing
Layouts, lighting, joinery and finishes developed into drawings a contractor can build without guessing.
Fit-out coordination
We stay on the project with contractors and makers, protecting the detail so the built room matches the intent.
Handover
Snagging, styling and final walk-through — we hand you a space that's ready to open and ready to photograph.

FAQ
Hospitality interior design in Thailand — answered
How much does hospitality interior design cost in Thailand?
Cost depends on area, scope and finish level, so we price per project rather than by a fixed rate. Because our material-led method uses reclaimed and repurposed elements, we can hit a striking, premium result on budgets that off-the-shelf hotel fit-outs can't. Send us your space and target and we'll scope it.
Do you design hotels and resorts as well as bars?
Yes. Unformaldesign covers the full hospitality range in Thailand — hotels, resorts, wellness centres, restaurants, bars and rooftops. We handle concept, material system, detailed design and fit-out coordination, so one studio carries the whole guest experience from lobby to last drink.
Where in Thailand does Unformaldesign work?
We're based in Bangkok and work across the country, including Koh Samui and other island destinations. Being local means faster site visits, direct coordination with Thai contractors, and material sourcing that keeps timelines and costs under control.
What makes your hospitality interiors different?
Our material-led method. Instead of decorating a room, we turn raw and reclaimed materials — pallets, crates, barrels, glass — into the actual architecture. The result is a raw-yet-refined, sustainable space with a distinct identity, engineered for dwell time and repeat guests.
